As part of its mission, the Institute for Industrial Productivity (IIP) endeavours to help industry develop and implement practices that will dramatically reduce greenhouse emissions and improve energy efficiency in the industrial sector. IIP’s Industrial Efficiency Technology Database (IETD), which is publicly available and offered free of charge, delivers rich and relevant information about the latest and best available technologies, tools and management systems to facilitate the accelerated and full commercial deployment of energy efficient and low-carbon technologies and practices in industry. As part of the IETD, IIP has a digital library of global best practices for the iron and steel industry. This document provides an overview of iron and steel resources in the IETD.
