Institute for Industrial Productivity India signed a MoU with Xynteo India Private Limited to act as as knowledge partner for India2022 Energise Impact Track.
India2022 is a purpose-driven global coalition committed to creating proof points for a new model of growth by 2022, the 75th year of India’s independence. The Aditya Birla Group, Hindustan Unilever, Shell, Technip FMC, Baker Hughes, a GE company, Cyient, Tech Mahindra and Tata Trusts have committed to this bold goal and are current partners of the India2022 coalition. The coalition was launched in March 2017 with blessings from the then President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee who praised this initiative as “the need of the hour”.
Currently, India2022 partners are working to develop projects across four impact tracks including Energise, Waste and Sanitation, Healthcare and Sustainable Mining. The Energise impact track is led by Shell India and supported by Technip FMC and Baker Hughes, a GE company. The impact track aims to contribute to India’s energy transition and provide support to achieve Government of India’s 2022 goals. The track focuses on leveraging technology and innovative commercial models for designing and deploying cleaner energy solutions, aiming to pilot and support scale-up. The MoU will support Integrated Energy Solutions project that promotes the adoption of cleaner energy.
