Nandini Kumar

Nandini Kumar has a PhD in atmospheric chemistry. She was an Associate Professor at TERI University, New Delhi, for about a decade, teaching postgraduate students and researching in the area of air quality especially related to ozone pollution. She has also worked in the application of systems thinking in environmental and sustainability issues, especially material flows (industrial ecology), and in developing curricula for higher education interdisciplinary programmes. She won a Fulbright Environmental Leadership Fellowship in 2012 to MIT’s Sloan School of Management where she spent a semester getting acquainted with system dynamics, a modelling tool useful in approaching environmental and sustainability issues.
