In order to stimulate innovations around breakthrough technologies which will help with significant decarbonization while also increasing value generation, the Confederation of European Paper Industry (CEPI) has launched the so called "two team project". In this project two teams of experts are competing to identify such breakthrough technologies. As part of this project there is also an open-innovation and crowd-sourcing approach, where everyone with a relevant idea is encouraged to contribute.
