Throughput Optimisation in Rolling Mills

This BFI research focuses on improving throughput in the rolling mills.  To this end, equipment of the rolling mill was fitted with additional temperature measuring points and simulation of time-discrete material throughput was carried out. Based on statistical analysis of the system performance, temperature optimization and better procoess coordination was achieved, which resulted in throughput optimization.
